☀️ Crotons plants thrive in a sunny location, we recommend that you place them in such locations like an eastern, southern, or western facing window, if your croton is lacking lights, it’s new leaves won’t be as vibrant in color.
💧 It is important to keep the soil evenly moist but do let the soil dry between watering. It is important to keep in high humidity, if humidity is low in your home be sure to mist around the leaves with water once a week. Croton leaves love dust, it is important to gently wipe the leaves with a moist cloth twice a month.
🌡 This plant prefers temperatures between 60-70 degrees, be sure to keep your croton away from drafts and cold areas in the winter.
✨ Crotons must be fertilized in the spring and in the summer while the plant is actively growing with a general houseplant fertilizer. In the fall and winter, we recommend you refrain from fertilizing more sparingly or fertilizing all together.
☠️ Crotons are moderately toxic to pets and humans, typically ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting.
